This event has finished

One issue that comes up time and time and TIME again in our clinic and community and which really is the foundation for midlife health and wellbeing is sleep. 60% of women struggle with sleep in the menopause for a whole range of issues from night sweats to night-time worries. Then there are joint aches and the nocturnal loo trips that leave us wide awake.

The role and importance of a good night’s sleep and ways to create a calming and relaxing environment are just some of the topics that Dr Clare and high performance sports consultant Dr Sarah Gilchrist discussed at our FREE event on Thursday 25th January at 7.30pm.

They also discussed:

  • What is sleep and sleep architecture?
  • How much sleep do we really need?
  • Is there a difference between sleep quality and quantity?
  • How is sleep impacted by the menopause?
  • What impact does lack of sleep have on our wellbeing and on our performance?
  • What are the different things we can do to improve our sleep?

We had a fantastic audience who asked some great questions so stay tuned to the end!
