Every woman’s experience of the menopause is different so, as we celebrate Black History Month, we’re looking forward to hearing two brilliant Black women share their stories.
Please join us for our FREE event at 7 pm on Tuesday 31st October when we’ll be hearing from My Menopause Centre’s Dr Tonye Wokoma and the inspirational menopause champion Fay Reid.
Dr Tonye and Fay will discuss:
👉 why they’re passionate about addressing menopause experiences in the Black community
👉the unique challenges faced by Black women during the menopause transition
👉 the health disparities that exist in the context of menopause for Black women
👉 how cultural beliefs and experiences, and societal factors, impact the way Black women experience and manage menopause
👉 how an holistic approach to menopause care can benefit Black women and their top tips and advice
There will also be time for your questions. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
