Did you know that research by the Fawcett Society showed that a staggering 10% of women have quit their jobs here in the UK because of their menopause symptoms? We’re talking about talented, brilliant women (many at the pinnacle of their careers) who have left their jobs because it feels like their only option.
Not only is this devastating for these individual women, it exacerbates the pension and gender pay gap and weakens gender diversity (not to mention the small matter of the impact on the economy).
So sign up now for this FREE joint Rest Less Presents and My Menopause Centre online event when our expert panel will be discussing what needs to change to make things better.
Chaired by Helen Normoyle, co-founder of My Menopause Centre, we’ll hear from the centre’s menopause expert, Dr Abbie Laing, Deborah Garlick, CEO of Menopause in the Workplace, and Madhu Kapoor, founder of M is for Menopause.
From how to have the conversation with your boss to practical strategies for dealing with hot flushes at work, we’ll leave no menopausal stone unturned.
