Food for thought – how to eat well for the menopause

This event has finished

The menopause can be an exciting time in a woman’s life, a chance to reap the rewards of the experience and wisdom she’s accumulated over the years, the opportunity to write a new chapter. But it can also be complicated, where the terrain we once understood needs to be approached in a different way.

Food is high on that list. Suddenly things that we’ve always been able to eat are problematic – we put on weight, we bloat up, we feel lethargic. Likewise, eating well feels more complicated than ever before. We’re bombarded with so many mixed messages about what good looks like, eating a balanced, nutritional diet can feel overwhelming.

The answer? Understanding how the menopause transition changes our bodies and why we need to approach things differently. Not only can the right foods and nutrients help us lighten up, but they can also do wonders for our sleep, energy and mood.

So join us at 7.30pm on Thursday 25th May for a brilliant conversation with Dr Clare and the award-winning dietician Nigel Denby when we’ll be discussing the secret to eating well in the menopause.

In our free My Menopause Centre + Rest Less Presents webinar we’ll:

  • Discuss why and how our bodies change during the menopause transition and why certain foods affect us in new ways
  • Explain why our weight loss toolkit from our 20s, 30s and 40s no longer works and what to do now
  • Reveal the power of the right foods and supplements to ease symptoms and put us back on an even keel
  • Share the foods that every perimenopausal and menopausal woman should be eating for a healthy heart, strong bones and good cognitive function
  • Shine a light on the small lifestyle changes we can all make to eat smarter

There will be time for your questions too.
